It’s when I came to Hear His Voice Uganda (HHVU) that I learned about the possibilities of the deaf child or heard of hearing individual to hear and talk. It sounded magical however Jeremiah 32:27 says “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” I thank almighty God, the life giver who by his grace enables the little miracles at HHVU.

With the help of hearing technology (Cochlear implant) and Auditory Verbal therapy (AVT), HHVU is making it possible for children and individuals with hearing loss to actively participate in normal life without stigmatization and attain their full potential throughout their life. This gives immeasurable joy and hope for Individuals and children with hearing loss.

Often times individuals hard of hearing have been discriminated and even subjected to funny and repulsive names in our societies. This is soon coming to an end given the determination of our parents, the zeal and enthusiasm of our hard-working HHVU team towards achieving the rehabilitation center goals.
